Our students celebrated Flag Day in Haiti this past Sunday. Flag Day is a widely celebrated holiday in Haiti similar to our 4th of July. Our students arrived in their uniforms to our school on Sunday morning. They were bused to church a few miles away in Mirebalais where they went to mass and participated in a parade. Each student proudly wore a Haitian sash representing their country’s flag. The students were then taken to our land where they had a picnic and enjoyed live music! The students were so excited and thankful for such a fun day!
